Blind singer-songwriter and virtuoso guitarist Raul Midón continues to push musical boundaries with his latest album, Lost & Found (2024), a genre-blending mix of “smooth folk,” alt-pop, and jazz. As The New York Times writes, his music evokes “a fusion of Stevie Wonder, Bobby McFerrin, and José Feliciano.” Featuring ten original songs centered on themes of redemption and renewal, the album includes the uplifting single “Keep On Keeping On,” debuted on The Jennifer Hudson Show. Recorded with longtime collaborators Andrés Forero, Richard Hammond, and Federico Peña, and featuring co-writes with Mike Errico and Wayna, the project showcases Midón’s signature blend of lyrical depth, rhythmic vitality, and intricate guitar work—much of it crafted from his home studio. A two-time GRAMMY nominee, Midón has collaborated with legends including Herbie Hancock, Bill Withers, and Sting, and has performed with major orchestras and ensembles around the world. Continually evolving as both artist and producer, he remains one of the most distinctive and inspiring voices in contemporary music.
